Wow - She's 15!

Happy Birthday to You.
Happy Birthday to You.
Happy Birthday MaBell!
Happy Birthday to You!

I am going to attempt a mini-Meat Loaf for MaBell tonight.

It is her fav and I refuse to not make it for her just case no one else likes it. :)

He's A Climber. . .

I heard some noise the other day and couldn't believe what I saw.
Luckily, I was able to grab the camera and catch him getting down.
It isn't seeing his face peeking out from between the two baskets, but still a good pic!

Attack Cat

MBB has jokingly refered to YeagerBomb as his attack cat.

I thought he was crazy, until. . .

Easter

MBB and I decided to make one big Easter Basket for the kids this year.
It didn't have much traditional "Easter" stuff in it. . .
I was a little worried that they would be disappointed with it.

No worries. . .
OB let it be known that it was a GOOD basket.
After all, what 11 year old boy wouldn't like Rock Band?
I also decided to put a small basket together for MBB.
Of course, my honey shared it with me. :)

New Toy. . .

MBB and I decided to buy a compact tractor.
MBB likes his new toy.
I like that it has cut our mow time drastically!

MBB's new expression?
"So honey, do you think my tractor's sexy?"

Lists

I am a list creator!
Always have been. . .
Probably always will be. . .

If someone in the house wants to eat it - it had better be on the grocery list.
If something needs to get done - it had better be on the To Do list.
If it isn't, I can just about guarantee that I'll forget about it.
My Franklin Planner isn't jokingly called by "Bible" for no reason!

I really like crossing things off of my "To Do" lists: Like hanging up the Family Picture Wall!
(Yep - got to do that last night)

The exception, the thing that drives me crazy. . .
Those "To Do" list items that keep coming back!

You know. . .
Those pesky things like Laundry, Dishes, Dusting!
How can anyone get satisfaction from crossing those off when they are just going to reappear before you know it???

Guess what I have left on my "To Do" list!

Ooops

I just realized that I have been MIA from the blog for 10 days.
OOPS. . .
My apologies for that!

We've been busy getting stuff done around the house and I took a couple days off last week.
I spent one getting some small projects done and the other at the Zoo with the kids as their fun Spring Break day.

I'm in "get stuff done" mode getting ready for MaBell's birthday this coming weekend. Posting some pictures that are on my camera's memory card is on that big "To Do" list, but I'm not sure how quickly I'll cross it off!

MaBell's Room

After the experience of painting OB's room, I was not looking forward to trying to freehand paint a saying on MaBell's wall. I was very happy when she found a saying that we could "apply" to her wall.

Much easier and looks way better than I could have done!!!
Two of her walls are the deep purple and two walls are a medium gray.

Nifty

MBB decided that he was tired of all of the cords that greeted everyone as they walked through our door. So, he built us a kewl new welcome piece.

Meet our charger station:

Temporary

I'm temporarily driving this little bee-bopper until my new car is ready. . .
It's fun to drive, but I am looking forward to getting back into a Matrix.

Unbelievable. . .

MaBell and I helped pick up trash in our county this past weekend.
Organizations (in this case, the basketball team) get paid to help keep the roads clean.
I think it's a great fund-raising activity and it helps expose the girls to the aspect of community service.

That being said - I HATE PICKING UP TRASH!

I about swallowed my tongue when I found out that we had a 11 mile stretch to walk.
Luckily, we had enough people show up that we were split into 5 groups and got done in 4.5 hours.

The biggest "What????" for my group:
On a quarter mile stretch we picked up 80 empty bottles of Grey Goose Vodka.
That does not count the ones that we couldn't reach or the ones that were broken.
Yes, you read that right: 80 bottles in .25 miles

Two days later, my mind still can't wrap itself around that enough to come up with a witty comment!
