Thanksgiving 2020

Happy Thanksgiving Day!

With 2020 being the mess that it is, I do want to take a moment to reflect.  This year has been good in making me take stock of what we have and be thankful for that!

So - for my family, my friends, my work and my health...

#Remembering - Cassano's

There is a pizza place back in my home town that I did used to eat at years ago; however, it has never been one of my "must haves" and isn't on my list to get to when we pass through.

But, one of the last times that MBB and I were in my home town, we decided to stop by for pizza because one of our Toledo friends raves about it and "why not?", we like pizza.

It was a nice trip down memory lane, but it is still not one of my must haves.

We took a short jaunt (okay, about 90 minutes) south of Toledo and stopped to grab some grub before heading back.

It was good... But not good enough that it will become a regular stop for us.
However, if you are near there - it is a good place to go.

#FridayFinds - Nick's Cafe

We headed to Nick's Cafe with some friends for brunch.

We liked it so well, that we went a second time before I had a chance to get the pictures posted.

That says a lot because we passed A LOT of other brunch restaurants on our drive there.

Definitely a great place to visit - tasty food...but be prepared, the portions are huge (so much that they charge to "share a plate").

#FridayFinds - Charlies Restaurant

This is a restaurant that we thought about trying for awhile now.

I was always hesitant and will remain that way for future visits.
(I didn't get a picture of the restaurant sign, but google will help you if you need it.)

The salads were great!  We may go through the drive through to get them in the future.

The rest of the food, maybe not as big of a fan.
