Special Order!

After much flooring style, color, dimension debates. . .We agreed to get special order flooring for our half bath. The square footage wasn't very big and it let me get the flooring that I fell in love with.

Yes, I know that sentence isn't grammatically correct.
I'm okay with that! :)

Presenting Rosewood Ebony. . . The room is now 95% done.
Just have to take care of the pesky hole in the ceiling.

Learning Something New. . .

When MaBell asked me to do her hair for prom, I wasn't too worried. I did her hair for a few other dances in the past. We talked about a simple style - kinda Egyptian looking to go with her jewelry. . . Down with part straight, part curly.
NO PROBLEM!!! :)

The picture I was shown days before the event was definitely not simple. And it definitely wasn't down.

But, I crossed my fingers (and my toes), said a few (okay, a lot) of prayers and dived in.

The result?If you look real close, you'll see one of the three braids that I put into the do. . .

In the end, I learned how to do something new.
Now, to see if I can learn how to do it faster next time!
