Another work trip found me at another group dinner...

The restaurant was a hidden mystery - no name on the door (I had to grab the name from their website) and even my Uber driver didn't know of it.  There food was AMAZING - to the point that I guess they don't need all of the walk by traffic!

The crab cake was by far the best that I have ever had!  There was almost no filler and was absolutely delicious.  The bad thing - I don't think I will like "the normal crab cakes" anymore! :(

#FridayFinds - Strong Water Tavern

Another work trip took me to Orlando.  My hotel was right between the two Universal parks, but I didn't get to venture out do to the jammed packed agenda. I did get to try one of the restaurants in the hotel with a fellow SD professional.  

When they put the table in my name, they pulled my room records which included by food allergy... To say that the level of customer service by our waitress was impressive is an understatement.  She immediately let me know what dishes that I needed to avoid and made sure that the kitchen was aware.  My stomach was VERY appreciative!

#FridayFinds - Wahlburgers

We've walked by this restaurant so many times and just never stopped.

This was the trip that we finally tried it.  Food was good, but I don't think that it was good enough to bump another restaurant off of the standard list.

Hats off to the staff.  It was my mom's birthday and I wanted to have her favorite drink in remembrance, but it wasn't on the menu.  They stepped up and made it for me!  :)

#FridayFinds - Village Pub & Cafe

We've been to Las Vegas so many times that we tend to go to the same restaurants over and over...

This trip, we wanted to try some new ones, especially the ones that we have heard are more economical... The Village Pub & Cafe was on the list - and we ended up going their three times - once for breakfast, once for lunch and once for dinner.

Yes, it has been added to the list for future trips...

#FridayFinds - Mt. Everest Restaurant

The second evening of my work trip (just outside of Chicago) found my group stopping into Mt. Everest Restaurant which specialized in authentic Indian cuisine.  

We made it just in time for happy hour, so we ordered off of that menu.  The food was enjoyable and worth the visit.

On another work trip just outside of Chicago, we were walking from meetings to the hotel and found Prairie Moon.  

We weren't super hungry, so we got two things off of the appetizer menu and split them.  

The food was pretty good and we even took leftovers back to our rooms, which is saying a lot!

#FridayFinds - Beef 'O Bradys

We aren't big on "bar food" and so we hadn't prioritized this one as that is what it felt like.  

A family member experienced it and told us that it wasn't just bar food, so we decided to try it out.

We were not impressed.  There was a lot of tables taken, so we might be in the minority - but I was very disappointed in my salad and though his food was good, it wasn't so spectacular that he has wanted a repeat.

The food was good and would be worth a visit if you are ever in Boulder.
