We decided to support a Kickstarter campaign and bought a bed jet unit.
We also splurged on the sheet and I must say that it was so worth the money!
MBB can pick his temperature (usually cooler) to run all night and I pick mine (usually warmer) to stop after a few hours.
The flexibility is great and we love it!
