It speeds up the cooking time - one round of cooking cranks out all the sandwiches for my family.

Yes, that is my sandwich in the lower right-hand corner.The only one with wheat bread and low-fat cheese. . .And pickles.
Why in the world would someone want grilled cheese without pickles?

Ok, I'm going to leave the whole pickles on a grilled cheese sandwich alone... that's just not right.
How did you make your sandwiches before? I make mine on a cookie sheet in the oven using the broiler.. cooks from the top so you can keep an eye on them and they don't burn... Plus, you can fit a lot on a cookie sheet!
I like pickles on grilled cheese...lol
