On another work trip, I had another group dinner... resulting in lots of pictures and great company! The restaurant served Indian food with authentic recipes.  We ate "family style" so I'm not sure what everything is. :)

#FridayFinds - Beaverlick Trading Post

Something that we have missed since moving back south are dessert options.

So, when we heard about Beaverlick Trading Post's Monster Milkshakes, we decided to try them out.

The two of us split one of the shakes, but I did grab a picture of the menu sign to show the other options. Honestly, it is huge (we still threw some away after both of us eating) - so it matches the price tag.  The problem - if the two of you don't like the same things, then it isn't a good value...

#FridayFinds - Mi-Vida

Washington DC is definitely a "high cost" city and the supper prices are extremely high.  For this dinner, we were trying to be a bit kinder to our wallets and ended up at the bar at Mi-Vida to order off the happy hour menu.  

The bill ended up being normal for a supper back home... The food was okay for the day, but the portions were a bit small and snacking was required soon after.

Our vacation to Washington DC found us trying out the 21st Amendment restaurant.  

The food was okay for the day, but I remember thinking that the menu was pretty light.

#FridayFinds - Bobby's Burgers

In my opinion, Bobby's Burgers is a perfect example of a well know name taking advantage and putting high prices on sub-par food.  This was a total waste of money and yes, they got us to try it with the name.

If you are in Vegas, don't waste your money or time on this one... The best part of the meal was the milkshake (and I didn't even take a picture of it).

#FridayFinds - Bourbon Steak

While on a work trip, I was able to experience a new restaurant in Nashville. 

It was on the top floor of a restaurant, so I wasn't able to get a "Restaurant" picture.

  
It was a group dinner, so the items we had were on a special menu for the group...

I tried to grab pictures of everyone's food (the sides were served family style) - so, I'm not sure what everything is, but everyone was very happy as they were eating.

It was a great experience, but that may also be because of the company as well.  :)

Great restaurant and highly recommend the food, but it is not a repeat for us because the wait is so long.  

We went at 4pm and had an hour wait - I'd hate to see what the wait is like at 6pm (we saw the line as we left)...

As we were heading back from Gatlinburg, we stopped at Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant for a quick brunch.  The food was excellent and shows why the restaurant has been around for many, many years.

While in Gatlinburg for a family birthday, we stopped by the Burg Steakhouse.

The food was good, and the atmosphere was worth noting as well.
