This is the first year that we haven't received a visit from the Easter Bunny.
I suspect that in a few weeks, we'll realize that he did visit and just hid the baskets and eggs way too well.  :)

We've drove by this restaurant thousands of times and never even thought of stopping.
Then, a group of friends decided it was a place we needed to visit...
To experience their "gourmet grilled cheese"...
And we did.

It was good.
We'll probably go back.
Sometime.

#FridayFinds - Growler USA (The Colony, TX)

I was out in Texas about a month ago and ended up eating at Growler USA two nights.
It was across the parking lot from my hotel - since I didn't rent a car and didn't want to Uber anywhere - well, got some steps and a full belly.

Dinner #1: BB-Que-B Hamburger and Tator Tots

Of course - American Cheese instead of Cheddar

I am not a beer drinker - I usually go for a hard cider instead.

They didn't have Apple, so I tried the Austin Eastciders Collaboratory Texas Honey Cider.

Yummy!

Dinner #2 Chicken Advocado Club and Tator Tots

This one was recommended by my waiter.

Overall, not a bad restaurant - obviously, I went there twice in one week.
Location is convenient, prices aren't too steep and I walked away with a full tummy.

#FridayFinds - the Cinnamon Stick

MBB and I are two peas in a pod when it comes to... DESSERT.
We love it and want it.
Not a good thing, but with the intermediate fasting - it's not too bad.

We have passed this little diner a few times and decided to check out their pies...
We are normally ice cream people, but pie? Why not.
Then, MBB decided to do cheesecake - go figure.

MBB liked the filling, but thought the crust was too thick.

Was actually just chocolate pie with Oreos sprinkled on top.

We definitely are planning on going back and trying some of their dinner food in addition to the desserts.

MBB had a burrito (no pic).  They also do not do skinny margaritas (that was the first strike)…
Neither of us are willing to go here over our normal Mexican restaurants.

Nice, quaint little dinner that made me feel like I stepped back in time.

We sat at the counter and thoroughly enjoyed some pie.

Executive on the Main is a quaint little restaurant on the main drag of Sylvania, OH...
They only serve breakfast and lunch, but it was very yummy!
Definitely a repeat!
